SO. I just spent a month of my vacation creating some math stations. I know now why I pay others to make these things :) This is my first unit so be nice, but I wanted to share in case anyone needed some Pete the Cat station stuff. There is not a lot of clip art for Pete the Cat and I hated to copyright, so I just made due with what I had.... but it's free...so just be happy. I hope this uploads to google docs... Hope everyone is enjoying SUMMER!! I will try to upload pictures soon to show some fo the activities. Click here for a copy. It is a huge file. I can email it to you if you have trouble. Thanks!!

OK. So maybe this will work. I think I have uploaded my flipchart to googledocs. Still not sure how to upload a cute picture for the preview on googledoc, but it's a start. I created this flipchart to help the students write number sentences and to also see that it doesn't matter which number I add first. The kids can see that 5+2=7 and 2+5=7. Let me know if you download it :) I hope it works!!

Click here for the flipchart. Can't seem to get my picture to link to googledoc.

Hello again!!

It's been a while since my last post! (Well that's an understatement!) The problem is that I keep stalking all these GREAT blogs and I really don't feel like this big blogging world really needs any of my input or advice. But then I decided that I would give yall my advice anyway :) Really though, I don't know how you girls do it. It's all I can do to get home, feed the kids, run all over the place for practices, type lesson plans (well kinda), laundry, blah blah blah. Seriously - "How does everyone do it?" I am going to do better. I have decided to post atleast 1 time a week. I know - big commitment right?:) Well, it is for me anyways. Here is my question: "Does anyone know the easiest way to upload flipcharts?" I have a couple I would like to share so I uploaded on Promethean Planet under addition, needless to say - there is like 800 other flipcharts under "addition" and I kinda lost mine. I'm still looking for it and will post a link when I find it. Just thought someone might have a quick answer for me :) You girls out there are just so smart. Hopefully - I will get some pictures uploaded soon (another VERY time consuming task) and I will prove that I really am a teacher and not a professional blog stalker. Have a nice weekend!

Very CUte Blog

I just came across some cute Brown Bear activities that would've gone great with my lessons last week. Oh well, I'm sure we'll come across Brown Bear again sometime this year! Check out her blog Cole's Little Pups. Also, we had "Bb" week last week and had a lesson on blowing bubbles with bubble gum. My sweeties forgot to throw their bubble gum away before they got on the bus so "you know who" got in trouble, but it was ok. I loved seeing them try to blow bubbles. We made a graph with small faces, but I just saw Mrs. Lee's pictures and I just might have to go back and make these. I'll post pictures of my graph tomorrow. Have a great week.

Word Family Sorts

I grabbed these 2 sorts from A Teeny Tiny Tearcher. I made a flipchart to do whole group before I send my kiddiesto their seats to try it on their own. I am not sure how to upload the flipcart, but just leave a comment if you'd like it emailed and I will try that. I am looking at Promethean Planet to open an account, but until then, I will be glad to just email the flipcharts. Happy Teaching!!
